Long long time ago.

Erupting from the, barrios of Boyle Heights, Escritura is a group of socially conscious musicians that play to the rhythmic pulse of their community. Although categorized as Spanish Rock, their style has been influenced by many different genres of music including: Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, R&B, Trance and more. They have mixed and mingled different sounds to breathe a cleansing fire onto the LA music scene.

Leader of the band Jaime Garcia, Along with his brother Manny and friends Carlos Valencia and Edward Lopez fused passion and principle to create their second album “Flor”. A Must have for any music collection. With stand out tracks like “Flor and Aunque Se” Escritura is declaring we are here, we have always been here, and we will create change in the world through our music.
